Djemima is from St. Michel and is ex- tremely glad to be back with her younger sister Sabine. Since coming to Chez Moi she has taken full advantage of being able to attend school. She works hard and is a great tutor to the younger girls. She would like to become a Nurse.

In 2019 Maylie’s mother was not able to take care of her and he pleaded with our headmaster to see after her. Maylie misses her mom but is happy to be at Chez Moi where is safe and clean. She enjoys learning French & English. She would like to become an Eye Doctor.

My story: My mother could not take care of me, she did not know what to do with me, so she dropped me off. At Chez Moi when I was six years old. I love Marie Major, my teacher, Sophie, and being in this house. Everyone is nice and they treat me well. I enjoy learning French.
Someday I would like to be an eye doctor to help the people see better.

My story: My mother and father dropped me off because they cannot do anything for me. I never saw them again. I don’t feel sad because I am treated well at Chez Moi. I love it here and get help I need. I go to school, they cook for me and keep me clean. I love to write and read. I love church, too, and to pray.
